San Jose Sharks (

) General Manager Mike Grier announced today that the club has signed forward Nathan Todd to a two-year, two-way contract.

Todd, 27, played in 16 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2022-23, totaling 14 points (eight goals, six assists) and finishing with the eighth-highest points-per-game (0.88) scoring clip on the club.

The Kemptville, Ontario native has appeared in 128 career AHL games, registering AHL 70 points (31 goals, 39 assists), 51 penalty minutes and a plus-15 rating split between Springfield, the Manitoba Moose, Belleville Senators and Binghamton Senators. He helped the Thunderbirds earn a spot in the 2022 Calder Cup Finals and was named to the 2020-21 AHL Canadian Division All-Star team after posting career bests with 32 points, 12 goals and 20 assists in 36 games with Manitoba.

The six-foot-one, 192-pound forward has also played in 143 career ECHL games split between the Brampton Beast and Quad City Mallards, tallying 110 points (49 goals, 61 assists) and 75 penalty minutes.
