San Jose's Top Prospects To Faceoff Against Peers From Anaheim At Anaheim ICE
SAN JOSE, Calif. – Many of the top prospects from the Sharks organization will travel to San Jose in early Sept. in preparation for two exhibition games against the Anaheim Ducks, which will be held Sept. 8-9 at Anaheim Ice.

The games will showcase top prospects from the Sharks and the Anaheim Ducks organizations. This event is a chance for fans to see the future stars of the NHL as they compete against their own peer groups. The games will be played on Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. (all times Pacific).
“These games provide a great opportunity for our prospects and recent draft picks to play in a game environment against members of their own peer group,” said Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson. “It gives our scouting staff an opportunity to evaluate our players and see their progression first-hand.”
“Future Sharks” scheduled to participate in this year’s tournament include first-round draft selections Logan Couture (2007) and Devin Setoguchi (2005) as well as Jamie McGinn (second round, 2006).
