Sharks Recall Matt Tennyson From Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has recalled defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) from the Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks) of the American Hockey League.

Tennyson, 24, has posted six points (three goals, three assists) and eight penalty minutes in 17 games with Worcester this season.

In 2012-13, Tennyson appeared in four NHL games with the Sharks, posting two assists.

The six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Minneapolis, MN was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 29, 2012.

Additionally, forward Adam Burish has been assigned to the Worcester Sharks.

Burish has appeared in 20 games with the Sharks this season, collecting three points (one goal, two assists) and 33 penalty minutes.
