SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Karl Stollery from the Worcester Sharks (AHL).
The 27-year old Stollery has played in seven career NHL games, all with the Colorado Avalanche, and has posted four penalty minutes. In 206 games played at the AHL level, Stollery has registered 89 points (21 goals, 68 assists), 171 penalty minutes, and a +2 rating.
Prior to being signed by Colorado, Stollery played four seasons at Merrimack College, where he served as team captain during his senior season and was named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team as a freshman.
A five-foot-eleven, 180-pound native of Camrose, Alberta, Stollery was originally acquired by San Jose from Colorado via trade on Mar. 2, 2015.
