Sharks Recall Forwards Staubitz and Kaspar

SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forwards Brad Staubitz and Lukas Kaspar from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.


Staubitz has played in 17 games with the Sharks this season, posting three points (one goal, two assists), a plus-two rating and 46 penalty minutes. He scored his first NHL goal, the game-winner, in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta on Jan. 9.

In 38 games with Worcester, Staubitz has five assists and 130 penalty minutes.

Kaspar is currently second on Worcester in scoring with 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) in 49 games, along with a +11 rating and 28 penalty minutes.

He has four points (two goals, two assists) in 12 games with San Jose this season.
