Sharks Recall Forward Barclay Goodrow

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Barclay Goodrow (@bgoodrow23) from the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) of the American Hockey League.

Goodrow, 22, has recorded three assists in 12 games with the Sharks this season, and posted four goals and 11 assists in 72 career NHL games with San Jose. He was named the AHL's Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 6, posting four goals and three assists in just two games for the Barracuda that week. Goodrow has recorded 11 points (8 goals, 3 assists) in 15 AHL games this season.

A six-foot-two, 215-pound native of Toronto, Ontario, Goodrow was signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 6, 2014.

In addition, forward Ben Smith (@BenASmith12) was returned to the Sharks from his conditioning assignment.
