Sharks Reassign Tennyson to the Worcester Sharks

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) to the Worcester Sharks (AHL).

The 24-year-old Tennyson has posted three goals, three assists and 10 penalty minutes in 19 AHL games played with Worcester this season. In 27 games with San Jose, he has recorded eight points (two goals, six assists) and 16 penalty minutes.

Tennyson, a six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Minneapolis, MN, was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 29, 2012.

In a related move, Justin Braun has been activated from injured reserve.
