Sharks Reassign Ryan Carpenter to Barracuda

SAN JOSE, CA - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned Ryan Carpenter (@CarpyDeuces) to the San Jose Barracuda (@SJBarracuda, AHL):

The 25-year-old Carpenter posted 18 goals, 37 assists and a plus-20 rating in 66 games last year for the Barracuda. He finished the season as team-leader in points and won the Yanick Dupre Memorial Award for community service. He made his NHL debut on December 11, 2015 against the Minnesota Wild.

The six-foot-one, 180-pound native of Oviedo, Florida, Carpenter was originally signed as a free agent on March 26, 2014.
