Sharks Reassign Matt Tennyson to Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) to the Worcester Sharks (AHL).

Tennyson, 23, has recorded 16 points (5-11=16) and 27 penalty minutes in 44 games for the Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks) this season. The six-foot-two, 205-pound blueliner has collected 45 points (11-34=45) in 111 career AHL games with Worcester.

The native of Minneapolis, MN, who was raised in Pleasanton, CA, has tallied two assists in four career NHL games with the Sharks.

In addition, defenseman Brad Stuart has been activated off of injured reserve.
