Sharks Reassign Forward Lean Bergmann to San Jose Barracuda

SAN JOSE, CA - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) general manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forward Lean Bergmann to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda), the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bergmann, 21, appeared in eight games for the Sharks, registering one assist. He earned his first career NHL point on Oct. 8 at Nashville. Bergmann has also appeared in six games for the Barracuda, collecting eight points (three goals, five assists) with a plus-five rating.

The six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Iserlohn, Germany was signed by San Jose as a free agent on May 28, 2019.

In a related move, defenseman Dalton Prout has been activated from Injured Reserve.
