Sharks Reassign Defenseman Mirco Mueller

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Mirco Mueller (@muellermirco) to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) of the American Hockey League (@theAHL).

Mueller, 20, has posted one goal, 10 assists and a +6 rating in 48 games with the Barracuda this season. He has appeared in 11 games with the Sharks, recording seven shots on goal. Over his NHL career, Mueller has registered one goal and three assists in 50 games with the Sharks.

A six-foot-three, 210-pound native of Winterthur, Switzerland, Mueller was originally drafted by San Jose in the first round (18th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
