) Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has re-signed forward Brodie Reid
) to a one-year contract.
In 2012-13, Reid played 34 games with the Worcester Sharks in the AHL, registering 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) and 19 penalty minutes.
In 2011-12 as an AHL rookie with Worcester, Reid played in 66 games and logged 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) as well as 17 penalty minutes. He scored his first professional goal vs. St. John’s on Nov. 5 and posted his first professional point (assist) at Providence on Oct. 9 in his first professional game.
The 23 year-old Reid has played in 100 career AHL games, recording 46 points (20 goals, 26 assists) and 36 penalty minutes.
The six-foot-one, 195-pound native of Delta, British Columbia was signed by San Jose as a free agent on April 15, 2012.
