San Jose Sharks prospect Taylor Doherty is the first amongst defensemen on the team in points (10) and assists (9). The 6-foot-7 defenseman scored his first goal of the season on November 8 against Mississauga. Doherty also recorded two assists on November 3 against Sudbury. He is tied for thirteenth in the OHL amongst defensemen in points.

Prospect Philip Varone was named OHL Player of the Week for the week ending November 8. During that span of three games, Varone had a league-leading seven points (1+6=7). The 5-foot-10 center is tied for first on London in points (18) and leads the team in assists (15). He recorded four assists on November 7 against Ottawa and was named the #2 Star of the Game. Varone also had a goal and two assists on November 6 against Owen Sound and was named the game’s #2 Star. His 15 assists tie him for eighth in the OHL.

Prospect Marek Viedensky of the Prince George Cougars (WHL) currently leads his team in points (15) and assists (13). Viedensky has three assists in his last five games and has recorded a point in 11 of the 17 games he has played in this season.
