Sharks Prospect Report for Nov. 11

Marek Viedensky, assistant captain of the Saskatoon Blades, currently leads the team in points (25), is second in goals (11), and tied for first in assists (14). The Sharks prospect has recorded two points in each of his last three games with one goal and five assists. On October 31, Viedensky was named Second Star vs. Calgary after recording two assists and a plus-3 rating. The six-foot-four, 195-pound center is tied for fifth place in the WHL for his three game-winning goals.


Goalie Thomas Heemskerk of the Moose Jaw Warriors has won his last five starts with a 2.13 GAA and a .928 save percentage. He currently ranks third in the WHL in minutes (1056) and is tied for fifth in the league in wins. In a 2-1 shootout victory on November 7 against Seattle, the Sharks prospective goaltender was named First Star for stopping 29 of 30 shots and all three shootout attempts.
