San Jose Sharks prospect Jayden Halbgewachs, 20, scored his 49th and 50th goals on January 19 in his 47th game of the season the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. His 50 goals came at a pace that hasn't been seen in the WHL in at least a decade (1.06 goals per game). With 25 games left in the regular season, Halbegwachs is on pace to score more than 76 goals this season. It was his 14th multi-goal game of the season.

With his milestone tally, Halbgewachs became the fastest player to hit the 50-goal mark in Moose Jaw franchise history. Additionally, with his second straight 50-goal season, he joins Theo Fleury and Kent Hayes as the only players in Warriors history with multiple 50-goal seasons. Halbgewachs is the first player to reach the milestone mark in back-to-back seasons since Fleury did it in 1986-87 and '87-88.

Through 47 games this season, Halbgewachs has tallied 50 goals and 39 assists. In 72 games last season, he had 50 goals and 51 assists.
The five-foot-eight, 165-pound native of Emerald Park, Saskatchewan was signed by the Sharks to an entry level contract on December 28, 2017.
