Sharks netminder Evgeni Nabokov was missing in action in the Sharks’ game at Montreal because of the flu.
“Nabby is feeling a little better,” Head Coach Todd McLellan said. “The energy level is good. We’ll see how he is in the morning.”
“It (the flu) took a lot of guys out and it’s just his turn.” McLellan added.
Nabokov started in 47 games this year and owns a 32-8-0-7 record with a 2.48 GAA.
Right winger Mike Grier was also absent from today’s on-ice practice session.
“He had a maintenance day,” said McLellan. “We’ll see how maintenance went tomorrow.”
Centers Marcel Goc and Torrey Mitchell
both took the ice today prior to the Sharks’ practice.
“They’re coming along,” McLellan said of the injured players.
Goc was placed on the Injured Reserve on Feb. 11 with a lower body injury.
Mitchell has missed the entire season due to a leg injury.
