SAN JOSE - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) will kick-off Round 2 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a FREE pregame street rally on April 29, prior to their first home playoff game of Round 2 vs. the Nashville Predators. The rally is open to the public from approximately 5 p.m. -7 p.m. and will take place on Autumn Street (between Santa Clara Street and St. John Street) next to SAP Center at San Jose.
Round 2 street rally festivities include a live DJ from Sound in Motion, giveaways, sign-making, face painting, photo booths, a slap shot booth, and more.
Food on Autumn Street will be available for purchase with MOGO BBQ, Smokes Poutinerie, and Gold Rush Eatery all selling food from their food trucks.
Fans may also purchase $5 beers from the Sharks Foundation's "Brews & Beards" booth where fans who purchase will also receive a promotional Burnzie inspired playoff beard. Partial proceeds from the Brews & Beards booth benefit the Beard-A-Thon campaign. For more info visit www.beardathon.com.
Limited tickets still remain for the first two home games of the second round series against the Nashville Predators. All fans in attendance for the first home game on Friday night will receive a Joe Pavelski playoff rally towel. Tickets are available at the SAP Center ticket office or online at www.ticketmaster.com/sanjosesharks.
Due to the high volume of people attending this event, it is recommended that all attendees arrive early. Doors to SAP Center open at 6 p.m. with an enhanced, pre-game show featuring on-ice projections beginning at 7:25 p.m.
