SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) will kick off the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs with a FREE pre-game street rally on April 18, 2016, prior to their first home playoff game of Round 1 against the Los Angeles Kings. The rally will be open to the public from approximately 5 -7 p.m. PDT and will take place next to SAP Center at San Jose on Autumn Street between Santa Clara Street and St. John Street.
Round One Playoff festivities will include a live DJ from Sound in Motion, giveaways, sign making, Alumni autographs, face painting, photo booths, a slap shot booth and more.
Autumn Street will host three food trucks where food will be available for purchase.
Fans can also purchase beer for $5 with proceeds from the beer sales going to the Sharks Foundation (@SharksCare) at the “Brews and Beards Booth” – where all who purchase a beer will also receive a paper “playoff beard.” Corporate partners of the Sharks will also have booths at the rally giving away all sorts of SWAG.
Along with fun and games, fans can stop by for autographs from an array of San Jose Sharks Alumni Players, celebrating 25 years of San Jose Sharks Hockey and much more.
Fans attending the game should plan to be in their seats by no later than 7:20 p.m. to experience an enhanced pre-game show that will feature 3D on-ice projection as well as original video content produced specifically for the Sharks 2016 Stanley Cup Playoff run.
Limited tickets still remain for the game against the Los Angeles Kings on April 18 at 7:30 p.m. All fans in attendance for the game will receive a Playoff Heritage Sharks T-shirt presented by Kaiser Permanente.
Plans for the pre-game rally are subject to change, weather permitting. Up-to-date information will be available at www.sjsharks.com.
