SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that they will host a two-game “mini-series” that will feature Sharks rookies facing off against rookies from the Anaheim Ducks organization on Sept. 12-13 in San Jose.
The Sept. 12 game will be held at SAP Center at San Jose at 5 p.m. and will be a part of the second annual Sharks Fan Fest (#SJSharksFest).
Fan Fest will feature multiple Sharks players and coaches in attendance and several exciting activities. Other activities include the opportunity to take photos on the ice with the Shark Head, Sharks alumni appearances, moderated sessions with Sharks players and alumni on the main and social media stages, and much more.
Sharks Fan Fest tickets are $5 and include general admission seating to the Sharks vs. Ducks rookie game. A limited number of VIP tickets, which include Club access and an opportunity for additional player autographs, are $30. Sharks Tank Tailgate tickets are $50. The games will be full-length, NHL style competitions featuring prospects from the Sharks and Ducks development systems.
Potential players dressed for San Jose include the team’s last two first round draft selections – Nikolay Goldobin (2014) and Timo Meier (2015) – in addition to Julius Bergman, Rourke Chartier, Joonas Donskoi, Adam Helewka, Nikita Jevpalovs, Kevin Labanc, Patrick McNally, Jeremy Roy, Joel Rumpel, Joakim Ryan, Alex Schoenborn, Dylan Sadowy, Alexis Vanier and others.
