In honor of Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Month, the Sharks hosted a Hockey Fights Cancer Day at the Sharks game against the Sabres on Saturday October 25 in hopes of raising more awareness to the cause.

Members of the Sharks organization showed their support for Hockey Fights Cancer and who they fight for.
This year the Sharks wore official Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys on the ice during pregame warmups. These will be available for auction at the Sharks Foundation booth at the games on November 1 and November 6, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Young patients from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the Sharks players after the game and take a tour of the locker room.
