The Sharks Foundation celebrated its inaugural September Latinx & Hispanic Heritage campaign by working alongside local non-profits that assist San Jose's diverse and robust Latin community. On September 13, Team Teal volunteers helped distribute food to students' families supported by the Foundation for Hispanic Education (TFHE).

TFHE also served as the first 50/50 Raffle presented by Cache Creek Casino Resort beneficiary of the season on September 28 when the Sharks faced the Kings. Volunteers from the organization were on hand to share their mission of ensuring the academic and career achievement of English language learner students through programs in its three public charter high schools.
Additionally, the Sharks Foundation hosted an auction where partial net proceeds benefited the North Bay Children's Center's mission of ensuring that all children, regardless of race, socio-economic standing, or resources are provided with an equal opportunity for early education. Funds raised will support their efforts to translate their Garden of Eatin' curriculum to Spanish to better assist the youth they serve. In total, the Foundation kicked off the 2021-22 season by providing $6,000 to local non-profits and impacting 6,500 lives.
