Sharks Foundation Announces Fifth Season of the Goals for Kids Program

SAN JOSE, CA - The

Taube Philanthropies

Druva
,
Meriwest Credit Union
, and
SWENSON
for the fifth season of the
Goals for Kids Program
.
For every goal scored by the
San Jose Sharks
during the 2018-19 season, Goals for Kids will make a $1,000 donation to be added to a running total that at the end of the season will be evenly distributed amongst six beneficiaries dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and families in the community. The six beneficiaries are
Books Aloud, Inc.
,
Special Olympics Northern California
,
Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties
,
Loved Twice
,
Racing Hearts
, and
Okizu
.

"Since 2014, Goals for Kids has raised and distributed more than $1.1 million back into the community," said Heather Hooper, Sharks Foundation Director. "For this fifth season, we are proud to unite with Taube Philanthropies, Druva, Meriwest Credit Union and SWENSON who share in our vision of giving back."
