Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Catch up with Tommy Wingels who on his offseason from his own sport caught up with other sports.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
Obviously my favorite memory was the Stanley Cup run. It was a dream come true for everyone to get that far. To have that opportunity along with all the excitement from the team, the fans, and all the people you grew up playing hockey with rooting for you certainly made it a highlight of last year.
Where did you go on vacation this season?
I had a lot of down time this offseason. I visted Florida and Michigan for vacation which was nice. It was a low key short summer but I'm glad to be back here.

Any good movies, TV shows, or books you watched or read during the offseason?
I watch a lot of TV. I especially enjoy watching sports. I think I watched every Cubs game this summer. I also watch lots of football now that it's started. I've been kind of glued to the TV on the weekends.
Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
Tomas Hertl, of course. We talked quite often this offseason. We had a couple face times here and there but I think we were both happy to see each other when we got back into town.
What is your individual focus for this season now that Training Camp has ended?
It's all about putting the work in from Day 1 here and getting back to where we were last year.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
I'm looking forward to have the opportunity to write another chapter in our book by completing the ultimate prize here and winning the Stanley Cup. It starts with building one brick at a time and we've done that at Training Camp. Now we're ready for the regular season to start.
