Sharks Camp Snapshot: Patrick Marleau

by Nicole Grazioli / sjsharks.com

Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.

Catch up with Patrick Marleau below where the forward talks about his vacation and experience with Pokemon GO.

What was your favorite memory from last season?
Definitely making it to the Stanley Cup Final. Everyone battled so hard and to get that far, I was pretty proud of my teammates.

Where did you go on vacation this summer?
I went to Maui, my hometown for a week and Canmore for another week. My kids got into Pokemon GO as well this summer. It started out on my phone and they took over my phone too much that we had to dig up some old phones for them to use. They still play a lot, but we give them an hour a day to play.

Any good movies, tv shows or book you watched or read during the offseason?
We went and saw Sully last week which was pretty good. I'm looking forward to catching up on all the Marvel comic movies too. There are too many to choose from so I can't pick a favorite superhero. I like them all.

Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
Joel Ward because he is so chill.

What is your individal focus for training camp and this season?
To get better everyday - the most simple and hard thing to do. But I just want to do what I can everyday and also get better as a team.

What are you looking forward to most this season?
I'm looking forward to making the playoffs again and having another long run.
