Sharks Camp Snapshot: Marc-Edouard Vlasic

by San Jose Sharks @SanJoseSharks / sjsharks.com

Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.

Catch up with Marc-Edouard Vlasic after he returned back from Canada from his offseason with family and at the World Cup.

What was your favorite memory from last season?
Winning the Western Conference at home was amazing.

Where did you go on vacation this season?
Since the offseason was short, I stayed in Quebec City for the whole summer and didn't really go anywhere. It was nice though. I hung out with friends, family, my wife and three dogs.

Any good movies, TV shows, or books you watched or read during the offseason?
During the summer I don't watch much TV. With dinner, however, I'll watch Young and Hungry - it's a pretty funny show.

Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
All of them. I did especially miss Dylan DeMelo's humor.

What is your individual focus for this season now that Training Camp has ended?
My focus is to be better than last year. I want to have better individual stats, be better at shutting down the best players on the other team and improving my overall game.

How was your World Cup experience?
The World Cup was an awesome experience. It was great just being a part of it. It was also a lot more fun winning it all, of course. To be in Toronto and win it for Canada was awesome and a lot of fun.
