Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Catch up with forward Chris Tierney on what he did in the offseason.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
My favorite memory was just the playoff run in general. Going all the way to the Final was a lot of fun. We had some pretty fun times winning on the road and winning at home. The Game 7 against Nashville was a really fun game and Game 6 against St. Louis, both at home, were pretty special moments.
Where did you go on vacation this summer?
I went to the Bahamas for a couple days. After that I basically spent my offseason in the Toronto area training to get ready for the season, hanging out, and golfing.
Any good movies, tv shows or book you watched or read during the offseason?
Me and Barclay Goodrow usually watch a lot of TV shows during the year here, so we actually just started Stranger Things, and we're pretty scared.
What is your individual focus for training camp and this season?
For training camp, I want to work on getting ready for the season and I want to come in feeling good and ready to go at the peak of my game. I also want to prepare myself every day and try to get better on the ice every day. I want to go into the season with a positive and confident attitude.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
I think we are, I know I am, looking forward to getting back playing and putting another run together. It was probably the funnest I ever had playing hockey in the playoffs last year and I think all the guys felt that way. We have a good team group in here and all the guys love being together around the rink and outside the rink. I think road trips are a lot of fun for this team so I'm looking forward to the first one here.
