San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has sent University of Vermont forward Brady Leisenring to the Worcester Camp. The Worcester Sharks are San Jose’s top development team in the American Hockey League.
Leisenring, signed to an NHL Amateur Tryout Agreement participated with Sharks rookie players in the “Pacific Division Shootout”, notching one goal and one assist, while playing against the top prospects from the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and Phoenix Coyotes.
Leisenring spent last season with the University of Vermont, scoring 35 points (11 goals, 24 assists) in 37 games.
Leisenring also played in three games with the Cleveland Barons adding one goal.
