SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) CSN California (@CSNAuthentic) and the Sharks Radio Network today announced a few updates to their broadcast schedule for the Sharks 2015-16 National Hockey League season.

CSN California has added the Sharks/Vancouver Canucks Sept. 21 “Kraft Hockeyville” preseason game to their broadcast schedule. CSN will carry Rogers Sportsnet’s feed of the broadcast but will have Brodie Brazil and Bret Hedican in studio for pre-game and intermission coverage, reaction and analysis.

Prior to the Sharks/Canucks Sept. 21 preseason game, CSN California will air the 2015 San Jose Sharks Season Preview, a 30-minute program beginning at 7 p.m.

In addition, the Sharks first 2015-16 five preseason games, including the “Hockeyville” game, will be streamed live on sjsharks.com and the final two preseason games (Oct. 2 at Arizona and Oct. 3 at Anaheim) will air live on 98.5 FM KFOX (@KFOX).

For the first time in franchise history, all preseason and 82 regular season games will be broadcast in some capacity.

As previously announced, CSN California will broadcast 71 of the team’s 82 regular season games while a total of 11 Sharks games will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network: Oct. 7 at Los Angeles, Oct. 28 vs. Nashville, Nov. 25 vs. Chicago, Dec. 1 vs. Pittsburgh, Dec. 22 at Los Angeles, Dec. 30 vs. Philadelphia, Jan. 26 vs. Colorado, Feb. 22 at St. Louis, Feb. 24 at Colorado, March 15 vs. Boston, and March 28 vs. Los Angeles.

In addition, the Sharks announced some exciting additions to their radio team for the 2015-16 25th anniversary season. Sharks alumni Curtis Brown, Owen Nolan (@OwenNolan11), Jamie Baker (@Bakes_Jamie13) and Kyle McLaren (@McLaren_K) will join veteran radio play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky (@DanRusanowsky) on the radio dial at 98.5 FM KFOX and the Sharks Radio Network for select games.

The trio will complement Bret Hedican (@BretHedican), the former Stanley Cup champion and fellow Sharks alumnus and Stanley Cup champion David Maley (@males8) throughout the season.

Radio coverage begins with the popular 30-minute pre-game show, “Sharks Warm-Up,” followed by another popular segment, “Coach’s Chalkboard,” and the game broadcast.
