Sharks Announce 2015-16 Broadcast Schedule

SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks),CSN California (@CSNAuthentic) and the Sharks Radio Network today announced their broadcast schedule for the Sharks 2015-16 National Hockey League season. CSN California will broadcast 71 of the team's games while 98.5 FM KFOX (@KFOX) will cover every game of the Sharks 82-game regular season.

A total of 11 Sharks games will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network: Oct. 7 at Los Angeles, Oct. 28 vs. Nashville, Nov. 25 vs. Chicago, Dec. 1 vs. Pittsburgh, Dec. 22 at Los Angeles, Dec. 30 vs. Philadelphia, Jan. 26 vs. Colorado, Feb. 22 at St. Louis, Feb. 24 at Colorado, March 15 vs. Boston, and March 28 vs. Los Angeles.

The Sharks will open their 2015-16 regular season schedule at Los Angeles on Oct. 7 with a nationally-broadcast game on NBCSN, with radio coverage on the Sharks Radio Network kicking off that night as well.

CSN California will begin its coverage of Sharks hockey on Sat., Oct. 10, when the Sharks play their home opener against the Anaheim Ducks at 7:30 p.m.

Long-time play-by-play announcer Randy Hahn (@sharkvoice) will once again serve as the voice for CSN California's broadcasts. The seven-time Regional Emmy Award winner will be accompanied by former Sharks forward Jamie Baker (@Bakes_Jamie13). Drawing from his 10-year experience as a National Hockey League player, including three seasons with the Sharks (1993-96), Baker enters his second season as the Sharks television color analyst.

Returning for all Sharks home games this season is a permanent "Inside The Glass" position on the Sharks bench, where Baker will provide viewers with an up-close-and-personal vantage point for Sharks broadcasts on Comcast SportsNet, bringing fans closer than ever to the action of Sharks hockey.

CSN California's "Sharks Pregame Live" will lead viewers right to the drop of the puck with a breakdown of the evening's matchup, insightful analysis, and interviews with Sharks coaches and players. Immediately following Sharks games on CSN California, "Sharks Postgame Live" will provide in-depth game analysis, complete game highlights, a live look at Coach Peter DeBoer's press conference, interviews from the dressing room and player reaction, and a preview of the next game. The shows will be anchored by 13-time Regional Emmy Award winner Brodie Brazil (@brodiebrazilCSN) and 12-year NHL veteran Curtis Brown, with additional analysis provided by Hahn, Baker and Bret Hedican (@BretHedican).

For approximately 24 hours following each game, CSN California's Sharks telecasts will be available on XFINITY On Demand.

On the radio dial at 98.5 FM KFOX and the Sharks Radio Network, veteran radio play-by-play announcer Dan Rusanowsky (@DanRusanowsky) will return for his 25th consecutive season as the "Voice of the Sharks." Hedican, the former Stanley Cup champion also returns, and will call approximately 50 of the team's 82 regular season games.

Sharks alumnus and Stanley Cup champion Dave Maley (@males8) will also join Rusanowsky throughout the 2015-16 season on the Sharks radio network. In addition, in a unique recognition of the team's 25th anniversary season, several other Sharks alumni will join Rusanowsky for various games on the Sharks Radio Network to provide color commentary and insight to Sharks fans.

Radio coverage begins with the popular 30-minute pre-game show, "Sharks Warm-Up," followed by another popular segment, "Coach's Chalkboard," and the game broadcast.

Affiliate stations bring Sharks radio action throughout Northern California, with a full list of schedules available at www.sjsharksradio.net. Games are also available on SiriusXM satellite radio and the Internet all season long.
