SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) announced today that it has reached agreement with Bay Area BMW Centers on a multi-year partnership to become the Official Luxury Vehicle of the San Jose Sharks and the naming rights to the new and exclusive lounge at SAP Center at San Jose to be known as the BMW Lounge. Additionally, the comprehensive partnership includes marketing and in-arena elements at SAP Center over the duration of the deal.

The new BMW Lounge is a members-only experience that promises to be the most upscale club space in San Jose. Memberships include seats in the first three rows of the lower bowl, access to the lounge with a semi-private entrance, personal concierge service, complimentary parking, access to SAP Center facilities on non-event days, and complimentary food and beverage including beer, wine, soda, and water.

"The Sharks welcome Bay Area BMW Centers as our partner on the new BMW Lounge in SAP Center at San Jose," said John Tortora, Chief Operating Officer of the San Jose Sharks. "BMW is a luxury brand that is synonymous with excellence. The BMW Lounge promises to deliver that same level of excellence by providing a high-end experience with first-class service and amenities to our members. We look forwarding to partnering with BMW in this new experience."

Designed by Sink Combs Dethlefs, the same firm that designed SAP Center, the BMW Lounge features more than 6,000 square feet of space including a remodeled kitchen, a custom-built bar, and multiple 85-inch and 65-inch hi-definition TV monitors will be strategically located throughout the space to allow members with ample opportunity for game-watching from anywhere in the lounge.

Notably, the BMW Lounge features a 2,000-gallon saltwater shark tank. The tank was designed and installed by Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM), the aquarium and exhibit design company featured on Animal Planet's hit television show TANKED, will be featured on an upcoming episode later this year.

A limited number of memberships remain. To receive more information about securing a membership in the BMW Lounge, contact the San Jose Sharks at (408) 999-5757 or visit sjsharks.com/bmwlounge.
