Sharks Add to Alumni Night Schedule

by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks

SAN JOSE - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) today announced several additions to the Alumni Night schedule in celebration of their 25th National Hockey League season.

Alumni Nights, featuring many of the most popular and prominent Sharks alumni in franchise history, will include a brief pre-game video tribute, dropping of the ceremonial first puck and visits to the Sharks television and radio broadcasts. In the days surrounding the alumni game night, the former players will also engage in community and fan engagement activities.

Jamie Baker, the Sharks current color television analyst and author of the biggest goal in Sharks history, will be recognized on Nov. 25 prior to the Chicago Blackhawks game.

Arturs Irbe, who authored some of the Sharks most dramatic victories in net between 1991 and 1996, returns to San Jose on Jan. 24 when the Sharks host the Los Angeles Kings.

Former Sharks captain Jeff Odgers, one of the toughest players to ever don a Sharks uniform and a fan-favorite, will be at SAP Center on March 19.
