The Sharks will open the 2021-22 NHL season on Sat., Oct. 16 against the Winnipeg Jets at SAP Center (

).
Following that contest, the team will hit the road for five games, before returning to SAP Center on Oct. 28 to host the 2021 Stanley Cup runner-up Montreal Canadiens.
The Sharks longest homestand is seven games, when the team will host Calgary, Minnesota, Dallas, Seattle, Vancouver (twice) and Edmonton Dec. 7 through Dec. 23. The team also has a five-game homestand (Oct. 28-Nov. 6) and two four-game homestands (Nov. 20-Nov. 26 and Jan. 11-17).
The Sharks have three, season-long five-game road trips, which also constitute the team's first three journeys away from SAP Center during the 2021-22 season: Oct. 19-Oct. 26; Nov. 9-Nov. 18; Nov. 28-Dec. 5.
