The Sharks left Vancouver at least two sticks lighter after two young fans caught the attention of Brent Burns during warmups prior to Saturday's game.
The first fan had gone to the glass for warmups, armed with a sign that spelled out a wager she had made with her parents: if she gets a stick from Burns, she gets a dog.

Already one stick down, Burns wasn't done yet. As he came off the ice, he noticed another young Sharks fan with a very impressive beard. As one of the foremost representatives of the lifestyle beard, he couldn't let that fan go away empty handed.
