In its ninth year, the season premiere of Shark Byte will feature an inside look at the Sharks’ recent trip to Europe. Shark Byte was there as the team boarded its team plane in San Jose bound for its first stop in Germany. After the long journey across the pond, winger Ryane Clowe

Away from the ice, the show follows defenseman Dan Boyle
, center Torrey Mitchell
and others as they play a round of golf with some of the Adler Mannheim players less than 24 hours after their game, and presents Sharks players and coaches visiting injured soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, the largest military hospital outside the United States.
As the team heads to Sweden, the homeland of defenseman Niclas Wallin (Boden, Sweden) and defenseman Douglas Murray
(Bromma, Sweden), the show follows center Logan Couture
, winger Jamie McGinn and other players as they cruise around Stockholm. Before heading home, Drew Remenda sits down with Coach McLellan and discusses the team bonding during the trip and the season ahead.
Each month during the 2010-11 National Hockey League season, Shark Byte will give fans an inside look at the Sharks franchise on and off the ice, with exclusive interviews with players, coaches and members of the front office. The program also will present feature stories, behind-the-scenes footage, exciting game highlights, and more.
