Share the Warmth Drive

by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks

Although San Jose is known for its temperate climate, the winter months can still pose a threat for those lacking the proper attire to comfortably survive the coldest months of the year. As a result, the Sharks Foundation partners with Sacred Heart Community Service (SHCS) each January to host the Share the Warmth Coat and Blanket Drive at SAP Center. The 2015 Share the Warmth Drive will take place at home games on Thursday, January 15 vs. Maple Leafs and Saturday, January 17 vs. Flames. Fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used jackets and blankets or monetary donations as they enter through the North and South doors in exchange for raffle tickets for a chance to win great Sharks prizes! The items are redistributed to in-need families via SHCS’ Clothes Closet.
