Seto Supports Silicon Valley Duck Race

by San Jose Sharks Staff / San Jose Sharks
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks forward Devin Setoguchi will be in attendance as an honorary committee member at the 3rd Annual Silicon Valley Duck Race and Family Festival. The Silicon Valley Duck Race will take place June 13 at Vasona Lake Park in Los Gatos.

Setoguchi, who recently finished his third season with the Sharks, will make an appearance at 1:30 p.m. to assist with the dumping of the 15,000 ducks to start the race.

“I am happy to be part of such a good cause,” said Setoguchi. “The Silicon Valley Duck Race raises funds for more than 15 local charities that need the support. As most Sharks fans can imagine, I love rubber ducks, but dislike Anaheim Ducks! I encourage everyone to support this cause.”

The Silicon Valley Duck Race is organized by the Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley (JFS SV) and the money raised by the event will go to helping JFS SV 15 local charities. Members of the general public can support the cause by purchasing a duck to enter into the race for five dollars, which also offers supporters the chance to win other prizes. Admission to the festival is free and will feature other entertainment including arts and crafts, carnival games, jump houses, and live music.
