September - Sharks Foundation Giving Campaign Launch - Healthy Living Month: After last year's success, the Sharks Foundation kicks off the second annual season-long giving campaign with Healthy Living month. September 7 - Shark Tank Unveil: The Sharks will unveil their new 2,000 gallon saltwater shark tank that will be located in the new Chairman's Lounge. The tank will be featured on the popular Animal Planet program "Tanked" later this fall.
September 8 - Sharks Individual Game Ticket On Sale: Tickets for the first half of the 2017-18 season go on sale to the public on Friday, September 8 at 10 a.m. Fans may purchase tickets for several of the team's unique giveaway games including a newly-designed Los Tiburones Jersey on Hispanic Heritage Night presented by Northern California Honda Dealers on October 14 vs. the New York Islanders, a Sharks/Star Wars Poster on November 4 vs. the Anaheim Ducks, and a Captain Joe Pavelski bobblehead on Marvel Super Hero Night presented by Solar4America when the Sharks take on the Ottawa Senators December 9.
September 9 through 12 - Prospect Showcase - Solar4America Ice at San Jose (Live Streamed): Prospects from the Sharks, Arizona Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks, and Colorado Avalanche face-off in a round-robin showcase at Solar4America Ice at San Jose. September 19 - The Chairman's Lounge Preview: The Sharks new upscale, members-only Chairman's Lounge can be viewed for the first time at the first Sharks preseason game. The newly constructed space at SAP features a high-end lounge featuring a full bar, several food stations, and refined finishes that you would come to expect from a prestigious club. Fan Fest programming runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by the Sharks Legends game at 5 pm. The Legends game will feature Dan Boyle, Mike Ricci, Owen Nolan, Evgeni Nabokov and Many Other Sharks Alumni and Personalities in a 60-minute scrimmage.
