Beginning on Tuesday, October 4, KUFX-FM 98.5 (KFOX), the Sharks flagship radio station, will air a weekly "Coach's Show" featuring Sharks Head Coach Ron Wilson and Rock-N-Roll and radio legend Greg Kihn each Tuesday morning from 6:50 - 6:55 A.M.
Wilson, a runner-up for the 2003-04 Jack Adams Trophy awarded annually to the coach of the year, and Kihn, a noted Sharks fan and leader of the Greg Kihn Band, will keep Sharks fans in tune to the latest developments in the hockey world. The show will run each week throughout the entire 2005-06 season, including the Sharks run to the Stanley Cup.
"Greg Kihn's show is a highly entertaining way for Sharks fans to bring in their mornings, and now that Ron is joining the fun each week, that's another great reason why they should all be listening to 98.5 K-FOX," said Sharks play-by-play commentator Dan Rusanowsky.
In addition, Scott Hannan will be making regular appearance on the KRTY morning show and Alyn McCauley will be visiting regularly with the 106.5 morning show.
On Monday, October 3rd, the NHL is beginning the third season of "NHL Live!". "NHL Live!" is a two-hour daily talk show (10a-12p ET) produced by the NHL in conjunction with Sirius and simulcast on NHL.com.
