With the 111th pick of the NHL Draft, the Sharks select center Noah Gregor.
After breaking his collarbone and missing most of the 2014-15 season, Gregor scored 28 goals and 45 assist this past season with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. He added on 3 goals and 6 assists in the playoffs.
Noah Gregor is one of the younger players in the draft, with his 18th birthday not until July 28.
Hockey is in his family's blood. His father Colin Gregor also played in the WHL, playing for four seasons from 1987-1991.
Gregor: "I'm an offensive minded guy. I have pretty good speed and like to make plays in the offensive zone. But I'm a reliable guy and like to work hard every shift." No surprise that his favorite player to watch growing up was Alex Ovechkin.
In 2013-14, Gregor led the Albert Midget Hockey League with 21 goals and 30 points in only 35 games. This impressive offensive output got him named to the AMHL Second All-Star Team.
