Power Rankings: Preseason Portraits

It's that time of year again (finally) when the players are back in action at SAP Center. Similar to back to school days when students take an annual school photo, the San Jose Sharks also take, say… back to hockey pictures. Whether the photos are taken in the midst of media day mayhem or as the players are walking into the rink in their gameday get up, there are plenty of cameras flashing for the Sharks starting roster this time of year.
This year's preseason portraits spawned many thoughts. So much so that we decided to rank them. Afterall, a picture is worth a thousand words.

8. Justin Braun

Justin comes off as a little camera shy but, at least he snuck in a few pearly whites this year!

The only other expression we've seen Donskoi make is his goal celly……yes that goal celly.

6. Melker Karlsson

On the count of three the Melkman will deliver a bunny from his suit pocket. Definite magician vibes from Karlsson in this photo.

A close up of the flow and extra flow. Just let that all sink in.

4. Ryan Carpenter

Perfectly combed hair with a red, white and blue tie. Yeah, Carpy is probably running for office in the near future.

Any chance to get a close up on the most impressive beard in the NHL is a definite win.

2. Brenden Dillon

Possibly voted "Mr. GQ" for senior class superlatives. This "straight-out-of-the-yearbook" pose ranks Brenden Dillon high on our list.

1. Aaron Dell, Joel Ward & Brent Burns

For being three unawkward people this is quite possibly the most awkward buddy photo of all time. And for that, these three guys (maybe four because who knows what other living creature is in Burnzie's backpack) rank numero uno in this year's portraits.
