Power-Rankings---Goal-Songs-Main-Media

This season we tried something different when it came to event presentation -
CUSTOM. GOAL SONGS
.
Each player had a chance to pick their very own song, which was then played when they scored. So for the sake of competition, we decided to rank them.

10. "Get Ready For This" by 2 Unlimited
We played our classic goal song for any player who did not pick a goal song. We thought all the traditionalists out there would appreciate seeing this one make the list.
9. Undisclosed Goal Songs - Marc-Edouard Vlasic & Mario Ferraro
Don't remember either of their songs? It's because they were never released before the season pause. We're still sworn to secrecy, but we guarantee they'd have a place in the rankings ifwe were allowed to share.
8. "Wake Me Up" by Avicii - Joel Kellman

PR-Kellman-Goal

While we love hearing Avicii, it's just a bit predictable when it comes to songs you usually hear at a hockey game, but a great tribute nonetheless.
7. "The Git Up" by Blanco Brown -Brent Burns

PR-Burns-Goal

We would like to see Brent Burns perform this dance with skates on please.
6. "Mo Bamba" by Sheck Wes - Evander Kane

PR-Kane-Goal

A popular sports hype song that definitely has its place in the rankings, but in a competition of the best, there were some more original selections.
5. "Radio GaGa" by Queen - Joe Thornton

PR-Thornton-Goal

After his song was played, we should have surveyed the room to see how many of the guys had heard "Radio Gaga" before. Better yet, if they were even born when it first came out. Still, the GOAT gets what the GOAT wants.
4. "Mamma Mia" by Abba - Marcus Sorensen

FACT: You can take Marcus Sorensen out of Sweden, but you can't take Sweden out of Marcus Sorensen.
3. "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper -Logan Couture

PR-Couture-Goal

We would have guessed the captain would have channeled Drake for his song of choice, so we were as surprised as you when we heard Cyndi Lauper blasting from the speakers. But when we heard it after he scored the game-winning goal in overtime, it just felt very right.
2. "Hakuna Matata" from the Lion King soundtrack - Stefan Noesen

What a wonderful phrase. The first goal song to debut did not disappoint and made for some pretty great social puns along the way.
1. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Theme Song" from TMNT -Tomas Hertl

PR-Hertl-Goal

Name something more on-brand than Hertl choosing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as his goal song? We'll wait.
