Back-to-Back-to-Back
Goaltender Magnus Chrona is 7-0-1 in his last eight starts, making 156 saves on 170 shots in that span. From Jan. 16 through Jan. 22, Chrona posted three consecutive shutouts, making 66 saves over three games. So far this season, Chrona has posted career-bests in shutouts (four) and goals against average (2.11), and has tied his career-high in wins (16). Chrona's four shutouts are also tied for fifth among NCAA D1 goaltenders this season.
Nine in a RowEthan Cardwell is currently riding a career-best nine-game point streak (eight goals, nine assists) dating back to Jan. 9. Over that span, Cardwell has recorded two multi-goal games and has notched multi-point games in six out of nine games. Cardwell was named second star of the game after a two goal, one assist performance on Jan. 27, contributing to an 8-0 win over the Owen Sound Attack.
100 for Robins
Named WHL Prospect of the Week on Jan. 24, forward Tristen Robins has 18 points in his last seven games. Robins was named second star of the game on Jan. 22 after posting four assists in the contest, his second game of the season recording four or more assists. Robins also picked up his 100th career WHL assist in the process.
