by Sarah Peters / San Jose Sharks

Here is The Daily Chomp's Monday Mailbag answering your questions sent in by Twitter (tweet @SanJoseSharks using #AskSJS), Facebook, or email.

This week, The Daily Chomp spoke with Sharks forwards Torrey Mitchell and Daniel Winnik to answer your fan questions.

Which arena is the hardest to play in and does it affect your play?
-Chandler C.

Torrey Mitchell: Chicago and Vancouver are probably the toughest for me to play in.

Daniel Winnik:
Chicago is really loud and the fans can get really rowdy, but I think probably Montreal is the toughest because they scream over everything and I think it makes some people a little anxious. I’ve been on young teams and that’s when a young team goes into a building like that and you see them most affected because they’re just not used to the environment.

Which city is your favorite to travel to on a road trip?

-Jacob M.

Torrey Mitchell: Can I pick two? In that case, my favorite city to travel to would either be Vancouver or Chicago.

Daniel Winnik: My favorite is definitely Chicago because I just love the city. It’s got a big city feel and small city feel at the same time. It’s not as busy as New York and it also has some great restaurants.

Of all the arenas in the NHL, who has the best ice to skate on?
-Robert C.

Torrey Mitchell: I think everyone would pick Edmonton, so I’ll pick Edmonton. But I think they are a little overrated (Pavelski agrees). I don’t mind Calgary, though. They have nice ice.

Daniel Winnik: That’s a tough one. Definitely not anyone in our Division. I would pick Edmonton because they have the hardest ice.
