Metallica's James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett will perform the national anthem prior to Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Monday (8 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVA Sports). The Sharks trail the best-of-7 series 2-1.

Hetfield and Hammett will rock the Shark Tank for a good cause. Each of the guitars used during the performance will be signed by the members of the band, displayed on the concourse during the game and then donated to the Sharks Foundation to be auctioned off. Fans will be able to bid on the guitars at SharksFoundation.org until Wednesday, June 15, with proceeds going to two beneficiaries yet to be determined.
Metallica has supported the Sharks for years, and the Sharks skate through their iconic shark head and onto the ice for home games while Metallica's "Seek and Destroy" is played.
The band's members are no strangers to SAP Center. Hetfield was in attendance when the Sharks clinched their first trip to the Cup Final with a 5-2 win against the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final.
Last season the Sharks held "Metallica Night." The band dropped the opening puck, helped with the lineup announcement and were presented with custom Metallica Sharks jerseys.
