It is Quick's first career playoff shutout and the first time the Sharks have been blanked in a playoff game since Game 3 of the Quarter-finals last season by Craig Anderson of Colorado; it's the 14th time in franchise history they have been shutout in a playoff game. San Jose falls to 10-15 all-time in Game 2's despite outshooting the Kings 34-23.
