2. Quick (34 saves, 1st career playoff shutout)
3. Johnson (G, A)

20:00 It's over and the Kings have evened up the series at a game each with the shutout.  It is Quick's first career playoff shutout and the first time the Sharks have been blanked in a playoff game since Game 3 of the Quarter-finals last season by Craig Anderson of Colorado; it's the 14th time in franchise history they have been shutout in a playoff game. San Jose falls to 10-15 all-time in Game 2's despite outshooting the Kings 34-23.

19:52 Mayers and Simmonds each get ten minutes for misconduct as they tangle after a stoppage.

10:30 Lewis exits the box as the Sharks are now zero for five on the man advantage.

8:30 Sharks go on the power play as Lewis is called for delay of game after lifting the puck over the glass.

11:53 Wallin is called for slashing Smyth putting the Kings on the man advantage again.  He had to take the penalty because Niemi was out of position after a save and Smyth would have had a tap in if Wallin did not commit the penalty.
