The last two games have gone really well. We knew we had the mechanics in the room to get the job done and we finally put it all together. We had the hiccup against Calgary, but as long as we have more games like the last game with Anaheim, we’ll do just fine.
We have a lot trust in each other right now and we’re holding each other accountable in practice and in games. That’s what makes you win. Here you don’t get away with a day off or an easy practice. Todd expects perfection and that’s what we try to do. Practice days are just as hard as game days and you’ve got to be ready for them.
We’re looking forward to seeing Staubie on the ice tonight in Minnesota. It will be weird seeing him on the other side, but we’ve got to remember there are no friends out there. We’re there to do a job and get two points. We know what he’s going to do and we just have to do what makes us good. Hopefully we’ll get the two points and then we can say our farewells.
The Raiders won again this weekend and the offensive is starting to come alive, which I love to see. It’s a fun team to watch when they are winning.
