On January 15, Joe Thornton reached an impressive milestone with the Sharks: 1,000 games played. And not just 1,000 NHL games - he reached that mark several years ago - 1,000 games played with the San Jose Sharks.
Thornton is the second player to play 1,000 games with the club, joining fellow 1997 draft mate Patrick Marleau.
