SAN JOSE— Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment, in conjunction with law enforcement agencies and the National Hockey League, announced today that the Western Conference Final series against the Vancouver Canucks at HP Pavilion at San Jose during the coming days will be subject to enhanced security measures.
These measures include guests being subject to search that may include the use of electronic devices, pat-downs and inspection of bags. Due to the nature of the process, fans should expect delays entering the building and plan accordingly. Fans are discouraged from bringing unnecessary items to HP Pavilion events.
Individuals expecting to attend any upcoming event at HP Pavilion should be aware of the following policies:
All guests are subject to metal detector screening, electronic wand screening and pat-down searches.
All bags are subject to search. Only small purses and baby bags will be permitted in HP Pavilion. Guests are encouraged to leave all unnecessary bags and other items at home or in their vehicle to expedite entrance to the building.
Expect delays entering HP Pavilion. To avoid lengthy delays, fans are encouraged to arrive at least one (1) hour prior to the starting time of the event.
