Hospital Visit and Mystery Pucks

by San Jose Sharks Staff / San Jose Sharks
As part of the San Jose Sharks continuing efforts to enhance “The Biggest Assist Happens Off The Ice” campaign, select Sharks players with the support of the Sharks Foundation staff will be presenting hockey-themed throw blankets to young patients at Valley Medical Center’s Pediatric Unit on behalf of the Sharks Foundation and the National Hockey League on Tuesday, Dec. 29.

Similar to the program that was conducted during the 2007 holiday season; these child-sized blankets will feature “The Biggest Assist Happens Off The Ice” logo and can be used by patients who often suffer through chills after treatments.

MYSTERY PUCK CHANGES
Sharks Fans, the New Year’s Mystery Puck Sale originally scheduled on Dec. 28 and Dec. 30 will NOW take place on Jan. 2 (vs. Edmonton) and Jan. 4 (vs. LA)! $20 will get you a wrapped puck, guaranteed to be autographed by a member of the 2009-10 Sharks team. Fans that find a “WINNER” tag on the bottom of their puck will receive an additional prize. In addition to the Sharks Foundation booth, pucks will be sold at the North and South Entrances on the concourse level. For more information, visit www.SharksFoundation.org.
