After a four day break, the Sharks are back in action at the Tank to take on the Buffalo Sabres for their third game of the season. The Sharks are still looking to get in the win column, but with only two games played the sample size remains rather small.
Yesterday's practice hinted at some changes to the lineup; Paul Martin was termed day-to-day with a lower body injury, leaving the door open for one of the young Sharks defensemen to step up and make an impact at the NHL level.

It was announced at morning skate that defenseman Joakim Ryan was called up from the San Jose Barracuda, while Paul Martin was placed on Injured Reserve.

With the fires raging across the North Bay, the Sharks have set up several was for fans to contribute to the relief efforts. All proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle presented by Black Oak Casino will go towards the American Red Cross, and there will be opportunites for fans to donate directly at the doors of SAP Center.
